DOUG LOUDON APPOINTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In light of the recent and continuing growth of our supply chain and manufacturing businesses with Rolls-Royce plc, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Loudon to the board of MB Aerospace Holdings Ltd.
Doug, who joined the company in August 2008 as General Manager, will hold the position of Director – Supply Chain Operations.
Prior to joining MB Aerospace Holdings Ltd, Doug spent over 20 years working for Rolls-Royce plc where he held a series of senior operational and purchasing roles and was responsible for a supply chain comprising 70 suppliers.
As part of his new position Doug, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering and management, will oversee the continued growth of the company’s supply chain business. He will also be responsible for the implementation of a series of engineering initiatives and operational performance in our own domestic manufacturing plant and at associated supply chain partners.
He will maintain his current duties for the supply chain businesses at Derby and Burnley but will now also have a direct responsibility for operational performance at MB Aerospace Motherwell, supporting and working closely with Eddie Gilhooley who will now report directly to Doug.
Eddie will retain his direct reporting responsibility to the Chief Executive Officer for the P&L and balance sheet performance of his business unit at MB Aerospace Motherwell.
Craig Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer of MB Aerospace Holdings Ltd, said: “Since his appointment in August 2008, Doug has played a key role in strengthening and developing our large supply chain capability. He has also led a company-wide recruitment drive which saw us enhance our engineering resources.
