MB Aerospace Burnley is primarily focused on the integration process for all engine rings to Rolls-Royce to support all of its gas turbine division’s including Civil & Defence Aerospace, Energy and Marine systems, alongside Assembly and Testing of Defence Products to Boeing.

As part of its increasing long term order book, MB Aerospace Ltd, based in Burnley, have the following immediate exciting career opportunities in the following Supply Chain functions:

Quality Engineer (QC/QA based) 

Working along side our existing Quality Engineers and report directly to the Quality Manager, required for Generation of FAIR’s, Liaison with customer & suppliers re issues with product, carrying out Internal/External Audits. Knowledge of Rolls Royce SABRe requirements would be an advantage.

Technical/Operational Projects Buyer

Reporting through the programme and supply chain manager, the position requires a flexible individual who will have opportunity to gain and excel across a range of supply chain management based, project/procurement activities, involving gaining competitive advantage/added value from the supply chain. Developing and controlling inventory mechanisms in the supply chain.

Manufacturing Engineer

Reporting through the Engineering Manager this position requires an Engineer preferably with several years experience in the manufacture of aero engine or IGT Ring / Casing type components.

This role will include:-

Interpretation & risk assessment of components against customer drawings and specifications, Supplier Process Capability assessment and mapping to support Make/Buy process, General supplier technical support and full engagement in cost reduction initiatives.
